Will students be employed for the duration of the program?

Yes, usually students are employed while attending the program.

What costs need to be considered besides program fees?

Employers need to consider housing and expenses in case students need to travel as well as any financial compensation for the student during their education depending on local regulations.

How does the selection process work in detail?

Interested companies will receive CVs of suitable candidates and can pre-select several candidates. Companies should conduct interviews with selected candidates to make sure they would be suitable.

Selected candidates receive the preparation material and will be assessed and, in many cases, must take the evaluation class (intense selection event). Those candidates who pass the evaluation week will have a final interview with their future employer and as a result, one or more candidates will be admitted in to the program.

What happens if a candidate passes the initial assessments but is not hired by any company?

This should not happen because we allow only pre-selected candidates to enter the evaluation class. However, it may happen, and in this case, we will do everything possible to find another employer for the rejected candidate.

What kind of recruitment services are included?

The program includes the pre-selection of candidates, presenting suitable candidates to employers, and conducting the final evaluation of candidates. Costs for in-person interviews (e.g. travel costs) are not included and need to be arranged between the future employer and the candidate(s).

Can companies bring their own candidates?

Yes, but they either must waive our guarantee in a case where we do not assess the candidate, or they need to allow us to assess the candidate the same way we assess candidates recruited by us.

What happens when an employer decides after the first internship that the candidate is not suitable?

We allow employers to terminate the sponsorship of a student and select a replacement in case it’s determined during the first internship that the candidate does not meet the expectations of the employer. However, in such a case we will charge a service fee (depending on the program) and we will do everything possible to find another employer for the rejected candidate.

What happens if a candidate fails to complete the program?

There is an exit point at the end of the first foundation module and another one at the end of the first internship. Candidates who do not pass the first foundation module will be asked to leave the program and the future employer may select another candidate free of charge.

Once candidates are past this point, they usually don’t fail because the program includes ongoing mentoring (technical and social) to take care of candidates who fall behind.

What happens if a candidate leaves the program?

Employers should take contractual measures to avoid students leaving the program on their own. Most countries allow clauses that require students to pay back part or all their education costs if they leave a company within a certain period.

What happens if a candidate successfully completes the program but decides not to work for the company who paid for the program?
